New Arvest Mobile Banking Launches in September

The release of the new Arvest Mobile Banking is quickly approaching and we are pleased to bring you more ways to access your accounts while on the go and more features, including a built-in Branch & ATM Locator.  The new service will be available no later than Monday, September 19.

More Options, New Features
With the new Mobile Banking, there will be three ways to access your accounts. 

  • Text/SMS - send and receive information via text messages
  • Mobile Web - log in using your phone's web browser
  • Mobile Apps - dedicated apps for some operating systems
    • iPhone, Android and BlackBerry coming soon. 

Use one, two or all three versions of the new Mobile Banking – the choice is yours.  More functions, improved screens and faster access to your accounts are just some of the improvements.  

What do you need to do on or before September 19th?
Our current mobile banking provider is ceasing operations on September 30. It is important that existing users make the switch to the new service as soon as it is available.  Watch the blog and for updates.

To use the new service when it becomes available, you will need to re-enroll for Mobile Banking by accessing Arvest Online Banking.  You will need your login information for Online Banking; if you do not know your login or if your login is no longer active, please call (866) 952-9523 to reset your login and password.

If you are an existing Mobile Banking user, we will be sending you emails to keep you informed and up to date.  We will be sending additional updates and reminders via email; if you would like to receive these notices, please contact Customer Service at (866) 952-9523 to update your email address.

Sounds great but ...what will the android users do after september 30th when the previous providers cease operation? will we have to call in or what? hopefully this wont turn out to be an inconvenience because a customer may not have an "iPhone"...

As soon as the new version of mobile banking is launched, all smartphone users will have access to the new user-friendly WAP version.  While it is not exactly the same as having a dedicated app for the Android platform, it is very close,  It is optimized for mobile browsers, and includes all of the same functionality that will be included in the new iPhone app and the future releases of the Android and BlackBerry apps.

We are working hard to make this mobile banking transition as seamless as possible. Thanks for your interest and question.

     How long until the Blackberry app is out?  Sad to see Arvest falling behind the other banks.

While we will not have an app immediately available for the BlackBerry devices, our new mobile browser (WAP) and text (SMS) banking features are both in addition to the dedicated apps we plan to have available by the end of the year.  Actually, the WAP version of our new mobile banking will rival, if not outperform, the current individual apps available in the mobile banking platform that we have deployed today.

The best thing about the WAP version of the new Arvest Mobile Banking is that it is optimized to work on almost any device that has a mobile web browser.  This will be available day one to all Arvest Mobile Banking customers who have re-enrolled like this blog post mentions.

I have a iphone 4 through Verizon and before we could not use the mobile banking. I am wondering if this can been fixed?

Yes, the new app we are working on will be available for Verizon iPhones.

Also to everyone else,

I have been incorrectly calling the new mobile web function a WAP version.  Actually, the new mobile banking will include a mobile web version that is designed to work on any phone with a mobile browser (iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Palm, and more)

Charles - Unfortunately the new app is not yet in the iTunes store or the Android Marketplace.  Our team is working hard to make this happen.  At this time, we encourage you to enroll in the new Mobile Banking and try the Text/SMS banking and the Mobile Web banking using your mobile browser.

 It's well past September 19th, any word on when the new app will be available?  I've tried limping along with the text based service, but its like dropping Windows and going back to DOS.
