Arvest Bank Finalizes Purchase of Union Bank Branches

It's official.  The purchase and conversion of Union Bank in the Greater Kansas City area is now complete.  The bank formerly operated 10 branches in the area, expanding the Arvest network to 18 branches and 33 ATMs total.  We welcome all former Union Bank customers to Arvest today!  Please see the release below for details about this expansion. 

Mission, Ks.— Arvest Bank is pleased to announce that the purchase of Union Bank branches and transition of account relationships is now complete.   Beginning today all Arvest Bank customers and customers of the former Union Bank will be able to enjoy an expanded network of 18 branches and 33 ATMs in the Greater Kansas City area.

Doug Heck, executive vice president and sales manager for Arvest Bank in Kansas City, comments that, “Teams at both Union Bank and Arvest Bank have worked diligently to ensure a smooth transition.  Customers will be pleased to see many of the same friendly faces they have grown to trust at their local branch, along with the addition of experienced Arvest associates. We understand that customers may have questions or concerns regarding the transition of their new banking relationship, and I am confident our teams are prepared to navigate customers through this transition process.”

Customers of Union Bank will have no service interruptions as a result of the conversion to Arvest Bank. The purchase will increase Arvest Bank’s assets in Greater Kansas City to approximately $800 million.  The transaction also increases Arvest Bank’s presence in Missouri and expands their footprint north of the river.

I am appalled that your bank on Blue Ridge Blvd will not help my 88 yr father-in-law get his social security check deposit set up for him! What lousy customer service!

Michele - We apologize for letting you and your father down in this instance and understand your frustration. We certainly want to help our customers with the process to set up direct deposits to their accounts, and want to correct our mistake.
